It was a lovely Winter Day but plenty of fog that greeted both teams at the Victoria Road Reserve. This was the club’s 1st Game back at the Old Venue. The ground was in excellent condition.
The Hawks got away to a Flyer kicking 4 Goals to 0 in the 1st Quarter. However, Bendigo steadied to slowly get back into the game. The game was close at half Time with Hawks leading by 5 Points.
The final 2 Quarters had Bendigo playing good football to win by 2 Points.
