Rotary Werribee Welcomes Rotary SAFE Families

Last Tuesday night, Min Bell, Peter Berg – Rotary Melbourne and Dorothy set off down the Princes Highway to present Rotary SAFE Families to the terrific members and guests of Rotary Werribee. We searched for the “Tunnel” but to no avail and it was the usual bumper to bumper at that time of the night.
The audience also included an officer from the Family Violence Victoria Police and members from Rotary Hoppers Crossing and Caroline Springs who wanted to know more about our work in prevention of family violence.
The generous members at Rotary Werribee and President Lyn Fava, have offered to donate funds from their event “Rhythms & Rides for Change” on Sunday 26 April, to RSF and our Towards Respectful Relationships program in schools. This is so greatly appreciated by us.
Yes, we found the “Tunnel” on our way home in the pouring rain. Much hilarity and fun was experienced. Thank you Min for your support. Please see the flyer for the Rhythms and Rides for Change under Rotary Noticeboard.
Free admission, a huge display of classic cars, eclectic live music, free children’s activities, yummy food vans with funds going to prevention of family violence.
