Dorothy Gilmour

Dorothy Gilmour was a university lecturer and a therapist specialising in trauma, loss and grief. She created and chairs Rotary SAFE Families, and is now in her second term as President of Rotary Hawthorn.

Ian Bentley

Ian Bentley

Ian Bentley is a retired teacher educator, secondary science teacher, school leader, author, research fellow, project manager, state curriculum writer, examiner, and Vice President of the Science Teachers Association of Victoria. A Rotarian for 20 years, he has served twice as President of Rotary Hawthorn.

Andrew Crockett AM

Andrew Crockett AM was Director of the Legal Aid Commission of Victoria and CEO of the Legal Aid Commission of the ACT. He taught legal ethics and practical legal skills at Monash University and the Australian National University.

 

Doug McLean

Doug McLean

Doug McLean was born in Canada and qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC. He moved to Melbourne in 1993 and held senior finance and management roles before retiring in 2023. He is also a director of the Freo2 Foundation, an international not-for-profit.

Terry Kitchen

Terry Kitchen

Terry Kitchen worked in events and fundraising in the education sector for many years before joining Rotary Hawthorn. She uses those skills to engage the club’s members and supporters through its social and fundraising activities.

Kevin Rose

Kevin Rose

Dr Kevin Rose is a recently retired GP. He has a long association with Rotary, having been President of the Rotary Club of Echuca many years ago.

Peter Lugg

International Service Director

Peter Lugg

Dr Peter Lugg is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon. Peter has made an enormous contribution to the health system in Cambodia, both by facilitating improvements to medical facilities and by training Cambodian doctors in orthopaedics.

Aminda Bell

Aminda Bell is a retired teacher who taught for many years at primary and secondary level, specialising in English and special needs education.

Charlotte England

Charlotte England

Charlotte England has had a long and varied career in business, consulting and corporate training. Charlotte has been a member of Rotary for 10 years and has served as President and an Assistant Governor.

Mark Eldredge

Mark Eldredge is a retired engineering executive with long experience in the telecommunications industry in Australia and overseas. He held leadership roles in engineering, business management, sales and marketing, and project management.
