President Dorothy is sharing feedback received from Rotary SAFE Families second global Mega Meeting in May.
It appears that global mega meetings are a valuable medium for providing communication and understanding throughout the world.
The following was taken from an email from one of our Patrons, Pat Merryweather-Arges, former Vice President Rotary International:
“I have a Club in my District that inquired (about the meeting)--- all of the Club members are women and they tend to be mental health specialists or social workers. I sent the link to the recent recording --- and they were in tears......they also loved it. ….I have to say the May 14 meeting was one of the best Rotary meetings (I listened to the recording this morning).
It was filled with shared and lived stories; meaningful suggestions for Rotary Members to address domestic violence; opportunities to engage communities; and a path forward.
I am going to be sharing the link to the recording as it was a very inspirational and impactful meeting.”
