24 Hours inside Cyclone Debbie

On 25^th March 2017 Noel and Lorraine McInnes arrived on Hamilton Island for a relaxing Anniversary celebration. Cyclone Debbie, 2/3 the size of France, and with winds up to 263kph, crashed the party.

 “24 Hours inside Cyclone Debbie”, is their first hand, illustrated story of the preparation, the lockdown, the aftermath and the evacuation.

The red dot on the map is the signal from Noel and Lorraine’s phone located on the inside wall of the eye of Cyclone Debbie at 10:44am on 28^th March.
