Kirsty Stark, Film Producer
From Youth, Group Study Exchange To........

Kirsty Stark writes: ‘My career choice has always been an ambitious one - to make a living as a filmmaker telling stories to the world. Now a film producer, with my first feature film, A Month Of Sundays, which opened in Australian cinemas on April 28, it’s a good time to reflect on all that I’ve achieved and how Rotary helped me get here!’

Kirsty has been a Rotary Youth Exchange student to Colorado, was selected for a Rotary Group study exchange to Sweden in 2010 and upon her return joined her sponsoring club, Rotary Club of Magill Sunrise which supported her by catering for some of her ‘early projects and recognising the opportunity for an annual club fundraiser - The Reel Event - showcasing short films by South Australian filmmakers’.

Her film production company is Epic Films, which ‘creates innovative film and television projects for traditional and digital platforms. Working collaboratively with writers, directors and producers, we deliver world-class projects with strong narratives and compelling characters’.
