Nearly Everything You Wanted To Know About The Council On Legislation

'The Council on Legislation is Rotary's parliament, which meets every 3 years. Every District has an elected representative plus it is attended by Rotary Royalty (the RI Board,  a Foundation Trustee representative and Past RI Presidents) who may speak but not vote.

 

Past Councils have had a reputation for lots of talk but but not much action. That all changed this year with the approval of far reaching changes to Rotary's constitution.
